The Rolex Farr 40 World Championship will move to Newport, RI, USA in 2006. Upwards of 40 racing sailboats - 40 feet long and all identical in design - will race over four days in ten challenging races for the world championship crown, the World Cup, and a coveted Rolex timepiece. Each crew is made up of four professional and five to six amateur sailors. Each yacht must be driven by its amateur owner/helmsman. Racing is precise, tactical and intense. With all other factors equal, skill and timing are crucial.
